This sparkling cider is pressed from apples grown in our cottage orchard. The cottage at Bedell is a historic farmhouse built in 1710 that now serves as our owner's private residence. It once overlooked a working potato field and orchard. We replanted this orchard as a nod to our agricultural heritage.
Taste White is a North Fork blend made using sustainably farmed, estate grown fruit, fermented with indigenous yeasts. The 2016 vintage was unique and exceptional. Ed McCarthy, the James Beard Award winning Author of Wine for Dummies, said “Taste White, [is] an intriguing blend, a terrific wine with very good depth, richness, and lots of flavor. This year’s blend works!”

65% Albarino, 15% Chardonnay, 10% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Viognier
Taste Nouveau is produced by fermenting whole clusters of grapes using the classic technique of carbonic maceration. It is the first wine of the vintage. 2017 was a quintessential Long Island vintage producing balanced white wines with fresh acidity and flavorful elegant reds.
90% Merlot, 10% Malbec.
First Crush is a unique red blend made with sustainably farmed young vine fruit, and aged in stainless steel to preserve its easygoing character. The 2015 vintage was unique and exceptional. Lettie Teague of The Wall Street Journal described it as, “A light juicy blend, pretty, uncomplicated, marked by soft tannins and bright red berry fruit.”
70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc
Our hand selected clones of this ancient noble grape are producing stunning wines. Aged in older French oak barrels to preserve its elegance and finesse, this wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts using our sustainably farmed estate grapes. The 2015 vintage was unique and exceptional. James Molesworth of the Wine Spectator said “[Rich Olsen-Harbich's] experience shows in the Bedell Cabernet Franc North, which offers a pure beam of red currant and bitter cherry fruit laced with subtle minerality and carried by moderate but persistent grip.”
