Our sparkling rosé is a unique handcrafted blend of grapes grown sustainably on our estate. Delicate, fresh, and lively, it’s a fun wine with a serious edge. The 2017 vintage provided exceptional growing conditions. Howard Goldberg of The New York Times said “This feather-light blend plays a game: its delicately candied aroma seems to promise sweet flavors, but is followed by a strikingly brisk dryness on the palate.”
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot.
Our mêthode traditionelle Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% Chardonnay harvested from a single acre on our Corey Creek Vineyard. This wine showcases the elegance and balance representative of the North Fork. The 2015 vintage was exceptional. Howard Goldberg of The New York Times said “Bedell is on a winning streak. Its lean, brisk blanc de blancs is especially fetching. The wine offers an aroma of apple, a hint of grapefruit and a long, slightly saline finish.”
Gallery is a blend of our finest whites made only in extraordinary vintages. Its hallmarks are ripe tropical fruit and a full body. The 2017 vintage provided exceptional, nearly perfect growing conditions. Thomas Matthews of the Wine Spectator said “This fleshy white delivers a good balance of ripe fruit and fresh acidity. Mango, melon and vanilla flavors show a tropical character, staying lively through the finish.”
57% Chardonnay, 26% Viognier, 17% Sauvignon Blanc.
Our hand selected clones of this ancient noble grape are producing stunning wines. Aged in older French oak barrels to preserve its elegance and finesse, this wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts using our sustainably farmed estate grapes. The 2016 vintage was unique and exceptional. James Molesworth of the Wine Spectator said “[Rich Olsen-Harbich's] experience shows in the Bedell Cabernet Franc North, which offers a pure beam of red currant and bitter cherry fruit laced with subtle minerality and carried by moderate but persistent grip.”
Bedell has become synonymous with top Merlots for over 30 years. The 2016 vintage is no exception, following in the footsteps of the 2009 Merlot that was served at the Presidential Inauguration. Made from hand harvested sustainably farmed fruit. Jay McInerney of The Wall Street Journal said “Anybody who thinks they don’t like Merlot should try this one, fleshy but not flabby, this [is a] complex, aromatic, medium-bodied red.”
Made using the ancient European method of co-fermenting Syrah and Viognier fruit with indigenous yeasts. The fruit was sustainably farmed on our estate and harvested from a single vineyard. The 2017 vintage provided exceptional. Thomas Matthews of Wine Spectator said “Plump and fruity, this red delivers black cherry, raspberry, black pepper and herbal flavors in a round texture, with light tannins and a spicy vanilla finish. Expressive and fresh.”
