Sparkle is a handcrafted blend of grapes grown sustainably on our estate. Light, crisp, and bursting with aromatics due to its unique blend of Riesling and Albariño. This wine is faithful to the North Fork style with refreshing acidity and tartness balanced by a savory mineral edge. The 2017 vintage was unique and exceptional.
Taste White is a North Fork blend made using sustainably farmed, estate grown fruit, fermented with indigenous yeasts. The 2017 vintage was unique and exceptional. Ed McCarthy, the James Beard Award winning Author of Wine for Dummies, said “Taste White, [is] an intriguing blend, a terrific wine with very good depth, richness, and lots of flavor.”
Our Sauvignon Blanc is made by gently pressing whole clusters of sustainably farmed, estate grown fruit from our sites at Bedell and Corey Creek. It is then fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in steel to maximize its youthfulness and aromatic character. The 2017 vintage was unique and exceptional. Mark Squires of the Wine Advocate said “Many on the East Coast make fruity Sauvignon with grass and green notes. What they sometimes lack, however, is some zing and zest - I love the way Bedell's Sauvignons accomplish that.”
Syrah 2015 - 1 bottle
Made using the ancient European method of co-fermenting Syrah and Viognier fruit with indigenous yeasts. The fruit was sustainably farmed on our estate and harvested from a single vineyard. The 2015 vintage provided exceptional growing conditions. Thomas Matthews of Wine Spectator said “Plump and fruity, this red delivers black cherry, raspberry, black pepper and herbal flavors in a round texture, with light tannins and a spicy vanilla finish. Expressive and fresh.”
Taste Red 2014 - 1 bottle
Full of dark juicy fruit, Taste Red has ripe and soft tannins complemented by a deep mouthwatering complexity. The 2014 vintage was unique and exceptional, perhaps the greatest growing season in 40 years of Long Island winemaking. Thomas Matthews of Wine Spectator said “Ripe, juicy flavors of black cherry and plum mingle with savory notes of dark chocolate and dried herb in this expressive red. Features a solid structure but remains graceful through the spicy finish.”
Malbec is a rising star on Long Island, with early ripening times and intense color and flavors. This 100% varietal was made from sustainably farmed estate grown fruit, fermented with indigenous yeasts. The 2016 vintage was unique and exceptional. Ed McCarthy, the James Beard Award winning Author of Wine for Dummies said “A rich, supple, concentrated marvel that was the best red wine of the day for me.”
