Our sparkling rosé is a unique handcrafted blend of grapes grown sustainably on our estate. Delicate, fresh, and lively, it’s a fun wine with a serious edge. The 2017 vintage provided exceptional growing conditions. Howard Goldberg of The New York Times said “This feather-light blend plays a game: its delicately candied aroma seems to promise sweet flavors, but is followed by a strikingly brisk dryness on the palate.”
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot.
Chardonnay 2016 - 1 bottle
A balanced and refreshing Chardonnay with expressive fruit and complex savory minerality. Made from hand-harvested grapes farmed sustainably on our estate from multiple clones on different field sites. James Molesworth of the Wine Wine Spectator said "[Bedell] Chardonnay is [a] successful bottling, relying on a fresh, breezy persona to deliver unadorned pear and green apple notes with a verbena hint."
Viognier 2017 - 1 bottle
Our Viognier grows on some of the oldest vines in North America. Fragrant and fruit forward, with a flinty minerality, the wine is fermented in steel from our sustainably grown grapes using indigenous yeasts. The 2017 vintage provided exceptional growing conditions. Thomas Matthews of Wine Spectator said “This modest white is clean and fresh, with a touch of hard-candy sweetness to its tangerine and white peach flavors.”
Merlot 2016 - 1 bottle
Bedell has become synonymous with top Merlots for over 30 years. The 2016 vintage is no exception, following in the footsteps of the 2009 Merlot that was served at the Presidential Inauguration. Made from hand harvested sustainably farmed fruit. Jay McInerney of The Wall Street Journal said “Anybody who thinks they don’t like Merlot should try this one, fleshy but not flabby, this [is a] complex, aromatic, medium-bodied red.”
Cabernet Franc 2016 - 1 bottle
Our hand selected clones of this ancient noble grape are producing stunning wines. Aged in older French oak barrels to preserve its elegance and finesse, this wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts using our sustainably farmed estate grapes. The 2016 vintage was unique and exceptional. James Molesworth of the Wine Spectator said “[Rich Olsen-Harbich's] experience shows in the Bedell Cabernet Franc North, which offers a pure beam of red currant and bitter cherry fruit laced with subtle minerality and carried by moderate but persistent grip.”
Musée - 1 bottle
Musée is our ultimate expression of North Fork terroir. The wine is powerful, with a show-stopping core of ripe fruit and a complex array of flavors and textural nuances. The 2013 vintage was unique and exceptional, perhaps the greatest growing season in 40 years of Long Island winemaking. Ben O'Donnell of Wine Spectator said “Bedell Musée, made only in the best vintages, has become something of a grand vin of New York.”
