This 100% varietal was made from sustainably farmed estate grown fruit, fermented with indigenous yeasts. The 2018 vintage was unique and exceptional. Full of dark juicy fruit, Taste Red has ripe and soft tannins complemented by a deep mouthwatering complexity. The 2015 vintage was unique and exceptional, perhaps the greatest growing season in 40 years of Long Island winemaking. Thomas Matthews of Wine Spectator said “Ripe, juicy flavors of black cherry and plum mingle with savory notes of dark chocolate and dried herb in this expressive red. Features a solid structure but remains graceful through the spicy finish.”
