Our mêthode traditionelle Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% Chardonnay harvested from a single acre on our Corey Creek Vineyard. This wine showcases the elegance and balance representative of the North Fork. The 2016 vintage was exceptional. Howard Goldberg of The New York Times said “Bedell is on a winning streak. Its lean, brisk blanc de blancs is especially fetching. The wine offers an aroma of apple, a hint of grapefruit and a long, slightly saline finish.”

A dry aromatic blend unique to Long Island, made in the North Fork style with crisp acidity, moderate alcohol, and a distinct minerality. It was fermented in steel from sustainably grown grapes using indigenous yeasts. The 2019 vintage provided exceptional, nearly perfect growing conditions. Thomas Matthews of Wine Spectator said “Crisp and light, this white offers light apple and herbal flavors, with lively acidity and a short, clean finish. A refreshing aperitif.”

90% Chardonnay, 10% Riesling

A balanced and refreshing Chardonnay with expressive fruit and complex savory minerality. Made from hand-harvested grapes farmed sustainably on our estate from multiple clones on different field sites. James Molesworth of the Wine Spectator said "[Bedell] Chardonnay is [a] successful bottling, relying on a fresh, breezy persona to deliver unadorned pear and green apple notes with a verbena hint.”

Bedell has become synonymous with top Merlots for over 30 years. The 2018 vintage is no exception, following in the footsteps of the 2009 Merlot that was served at the Presidential Inauguration. Made from hand harvested sustainably farmed fruit. Jay McInerney of The Wall Street Journal said “Anybody who thinks they don’t like Merlot should try this one, fleshy but not flabby, this [is a] complex, aromatic, medium-bodied red.”

Malbec is a rising star on Long Island, with early ripening times and intense color and flavors. This 100% varietal was made from sustainably farmed estate grown fruit, fermented with indigenous yeasts. The 2018 vintage was unique and exceptional. Ed McCarthy, the James Beard Award winning Author of Wine for Dummies said “A rich, supple, concentrated marvel that was the best red wine of the day for me.”

Full of dark juicy fruit, Taste Red has ripe and soft tannins complemented by a deep mouthwatering complexity. The 2015 vintage was unique and exceptional, perhaps the greatest growing season in 40 years of Long Island winemaking. Thomas Matthews of Wine Spectator said “Ripe, juicy flavors of black cherry and plum mingle with savory notes of dark chocolate and dried herb in this expressive red. Features a solid structure but remains graceful through the spicy finish.”
