Bedell Cellars - Perfecting The Art Of WineBedell Cellars - Visit the Bedell Cellars Tasting Room
The Bedell Cellars tasting room is a beautifully renovated historic barn originally built in 1919. An upper mezzanine features a fireplace to warm up with on a cold winter's day as well as viewing windows into the barrel cellar and bottling room, and a sweeping view of the vineyards. The high ceilings and multi-level space also make an ideal showcase for owner Michael Lynne's private art collection, featuring the works of such renowned artists as Cindy Sherman, Chuck Close, Sam Taylor-Wood, Uta Barth, Sarah Morris, Barbara Kruger and Eric Fischl. The interior design of the Tasting Room was completed by Vicente Wolf Associates of New York City.

The Guest Cottage at Bedell Cellars is a historic landmark that dates back to the late 1700's. Its pergola-covered entrance path is lined with wisteria and leads to a beautiful lavender and herb garden, all designed by landscape architect Edmund Hollander.

During the warmer months, visitors can taste our wines and picnic on the shaded lawn adjacent to the Cottage's apple orchard and vineyards. Visitors can also enjoy our wines and the views from a beautiful outdoor mahogany Pavilion connected to our tasting room.

Bedell Cellars is available for weddings, private parties and corporate events in addition to general walk-in visitors year-round.

Tipping Etiquette:
Of course, tipping for good service is completely discretionary. However, we wish to offer a courteous reminder to all our visitors that tips for the bar service staff are not included in any of our prices for wine tasting flights, tours, group reservations, and table service. Often people ask us what is a customary tip for wine service, and typically people leave gratuities in the range of 10-20%, similar to a restaurant experience.
